Gayland Panko created Panko Investments to continue to produce great returns for himself and for other investors looking for an alternative way to reach their financial goals and be able to devote time and energy to their passions.

 

Gayland previously owned and operated a large livestock operation in Southern Saskatchewan, Canada from 2004 until 2013.  During that time, he invested in agricultural land as well as single family homes in the Southern United States. The cattle operation consumed much of his time and he was looking to have more freedom to devote to his young family and travel.  Although he was financially successful there were a lot of factors beyond his control.  BSE (Mad Cow), a rising Canadian dollar, and politically protectionist export markets were on-going adversities. Gayland contemplated selling the ranch and began investigating the best way to protect and grow his capital. It was through this experience, he realized that investing in traditional stocks and mutual funds alone were not going to provide a return that was going to fund the lifestyle he wanted. Gayland realized that his rental houses and agricultural land were his best investments. He set about to control his own future through real estate investment. 

 

Over the years, he has expanded his investments across multiple asset classes and geographical locations. Gayland is an award winning investor and respected authority. Gayland has a Financial Management Certificate and a Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management Certificate from Cornell University. He is also a licensed Realtor with Panko & Associates Royal LePage Regina Realty.
